Join us at the Loft Literary Center in downtown Minneapolis for Carla J. Hagen’s book launch and signing of Muskeg, the second novel in her Minnesota-Canadian Borderland Trilogy series. Carla’s debut novel, Hand Me Down My Walking Cane, won the 2012 Midwest Independent Publishers Awards for best literary fiction and best historical fiction.

I had a wonderful pre-launch event in my hometown, Baudette, the area where my Minnesota-Canada Borderland trilogy takes place and the lifeblood of my characters. I was humbled and grateful as many of my family, lifelong friends and childhood neighbors, and even a teacher filled the audience to learn more about Muskeg. It was a dream day and thank you to everyone who attended!
